Give Me Something To Type On

As a proud owner of an iPhone, I have one major pet peeve that I am sure others have as well.  I want to use an external blue tooth keyboard.  I cannot express how disappointed I am in apple for not allowing third party manufacturers to create one that works with all aspects of the phone.  The only thing I can come up with as to why they have not released a wireless keyboard is because of Mr. Jobs ego.  If a keyboard was released, he would be admitting that physical keyboards are superior to virtual keyboards and I don’t think he can do that.  To be fair, virtual keyboards are just fine for day to day tasks due to how responsive they have become, but if I am on the go and want to type up a paper or a dozen emails and I don’t have access to my laptop, a physical keyboard would be the next best thing.  Hopefully this year is the year.

M1 Micro Projector: Way Cool

I've recently been in the market for a budget projector to install in my dorm and I believe I've found the answer.  The M1 Micro Projector by AAXA looks to be a very cool device.  It appears to be about the size of four decks of cards bundled together and works with various electronics.  This unit comes in two prices, starting at $299 for the standard addition, and $359 for the upgraded edition which has a VGA connection.  This unit is also capable of connecting to your iPhone, PSP, Zune, Nokia, Samsung and LG phones.  It spits out a 800x600 resolution with a screen size up to 100 inch's (in perfectly dark conditions).  It will have 1gb internal memory and sport a SD card slot for additional media.  If anyone out there wants to send me one, email me ;)

nVidia Tegra: Fast just got faster

nVidia has recently announced that they have produced a 1ghz dual core processer created for tablets.  This processor is capable of 1080p, running a 12mp camera, and HDMI 1.3.  To break it down, its nearly twice as fast as its predcessor, can produce amazing images on your screen, and will possible connect directly to large lcd displays such as your flat screen tv with high def.  As I stated before, this processor was created to run in a tablet however, I believe there are manufactures out there who will try to put this into a cellphone (hrrm htc maybe?)

Facebook, iPhone, Update, Get It

Just a little something I noticed. For those of you who have an iPhone in their pocket and follow a popular website called Facebook, they released 2 new updates recently bringing it to version 3.1.1. From what I gather, the major change is that you can sync your address book to your Facebook account and they have fixed some minor bugs. The new version is out now so go grab it through the app store.

The Nexus One. Uninspiring

As we all know, Google has a fan base, much like Apple, that would lemming there way off the side of a cliff if their CEO told them too. On January 5th, google announced the release of the Nexus One. Though its a pretty device with respectable stats, I find myself yearning for a bit more from the search engine giant. I am not sure whether my lack of excitement comes from the amount of hype this phone received before its launch leaving me to expect more or the fact that to the average user, its kinda like a hundred other phones launched during the 4th quarter of 09. Maybe Ill take a closer look at the device and if I change my mind, I'll keep you updated.
